A treatment centre in Ituri province, DR Congo, celebrated discharging its last confirmed Ebola patients on 29 October 2026. It is the first time since May that the centre is no longer treating any confirmed cases. Medical staff and residents danced and sang to mark the milestone, France 24 reported. The report did not give overall case or death figures for the outbreak.
