New details about Grand Theft Auto VI emerged on October 29, 2026 ahead of its November launch, from Edge magazine and GamesRadar previews, a South Park episode and Rockstar announcements. Rockstar said the map is about twice the size of GTA 5's and the total landmass is nearly as big as GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined. Other reveals include police K9 units, a ride-summon app, an early-opening map, a score release on December 11 and a PlayStation Pulse headset launching alongside the game. South Park showed about 20 seconds of gameplay featuring dog poop. Singer Cliff Richard, whose song is in the game, said he knew little about it.
