An Iranian Navy deputy coordinator said Iran targeted the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier with a strategic cruise missile during the 40-day Ramadan War, Tehran Times reported on Friday. He said the force carried out more than 20 operations against US warships and around 300 operations against American interests. The claims were made retrospectively and were not independently confirmed in the report. No US response was reported.
