Smithsonian Magazine reported that archaeologists found a dog's paw print on a mud brick at Tavsanli Hoyuk in western Turkey. The brick dates to about 4,000 years ago and was found in the rubble of a Bronze Age house. The find reflects the long relationship between humans and dogs in the region.
