Crypto exchange Binance disclosed that $6.3 billion in crypto funds was stolen from the platform, in what is believed to be the largest cryptocurrency hack on record. Binance said user funds are safe, about $3 billion of the affected assets had been frozen, and it will cover all losses. TechCrunch reported that hackers working for North Korea are suspected of compromising a Binance employee's laptop, which allowed the theft. Ars Technica described the hack as linked to North Korea, and The Verge reported the same loss figure.
