A Russian Su-57 stealth fighter reportedly burned down at the Akhtubinsk airfield in Astrakhan region on October 29 during an engine start-up incident, Kyiv Post reported on October 30. Russian officials have not confirmed the claim, and Kyiv Post could not independently verify it. If true, it would be the fourth Su-57 lost or damaged this year, after a Ukrainian drone strike in April and a crash near Moscow in July.
