Ukrainian drones struck the Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery in Russia's Samara region overnight on October 30, according to Ukrinform and Ukrainska Pravda. Videos shared by monitoring Telegram channels show a blaze at the plant, which produces jet fuel as well as petrol and diesel. Kyiv Post reported that the refinery supplies jet fuel to the Russian military and that another strike hit a military food supplier in the Bryansk region. The Kyiv Independent said the attack was the first on Russian refineries since an unofficial pause that began in mid-October, and drone attacks also forced temporary closures at Moscow's major airports.
