Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, said Thursday it is investigating a potential security issue. Founder Changpeng Zhao said the incident does look like a hack on Binance, according to PBS NewsHour. Late Thursday the company said the estimated total impact exceeded $6 billion, which could make it one of the most significant security incidents on record.
