A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck the Vanuatu Islands at 22:14 UTC on 30 October 2026, at a shallow depth of 10 km. GDACS issued a green alert, the lowest level on its scale, and reported no people affected within 100 km. The alert reports no damage, injuries or deaths. It is a separate event from the magnitude 4.6 Vanuatu quake listed earlier today.
