Pastor Caleb Campbell, a former neo-Nazi, has become one of the few outspoken evangelical critics of President Donald Trump, France 24 reported. The report notes that 82 per cent of white evangelical Protestants voted for Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Campbell said he first spoke out during Trump's first term, when he opposed plans to put kids in cages as part of an immigration crackdown. He recalled being told he was possessed by a demon for his stance. The feature comes ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections.
