Russia's military satellite Cosmos-2612 encroached upon the orbit of the Ukrainian commercial satellite Iceye-X36 this month, according to France 24. The US State Department deemed the behaviour threatening. Norbert Pouzin, an orbital analyst at the French space tech firm Aldoria, described the manoeuvre as the first of its kind. The report did not give further details on any damage or on a response from Moscow.
