Frank Cornelius, a retired Korea and Vietnam War veteran, has built a museum of Marine Corps memorabilia in De Pere, Wisconsin, with his wife Nancy, according to Atlas Obscura. The collection began as a family basement display before outgrowing that space and moving to another building. Donations from private individuals have helped the collection grow, and Cornelius gives guided tours by appointment during the summer months.
