Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei has ordered senior commanders to respond swiftly and forcefully to any new aggression against Iran, without geographical limits, IRNA reported. The same morning, Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia warned the United States against resuming military operations, saying a renewed war would engulf a much wider region. Both statements come as the US-Iran war, now in its eighth month, faces growing fears of escalation.
