Iran Adds Oil-Fried Bread to Heritage List and Advances Masuleh Bid

Iranian state outlets reported that the oil-fried bread Nan-e Roghan-Jushi from South Khorasan has been added to Iran's National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Tehran Times also reported that the evaluation of Masuleh's UNESCO World Heritage nomination is continuing. Tehran Times reported a specialist meeting in Tabriz marking the 561st anniversary of the Blue Mosque, which will focus on Qara Qoyunlu tilework. An ICOMOS expert is conducting field assessments in Masuleh for the UNESCO nomination.
