The Chernihiv Oblast Commercial Court ordered Russia to pay UAH 161.31 million, about US$3.59 million, in damages to the door manufacturer Korfad LLC, Ukrainska Pravda reported on October 31. The award compensates the company for the destruction of its business in Chernihiv Oblast during the war. The ruling is one of the court cases seeking compensation from Russia for war damage to Ukrainian businesses.
