Haaretz republished an account of a 2012 interview in which veteran Arab lawmaker Ahmad Tibi was questioned by two Israeli children. Tibi assured them he did not want to throw them into the sea, as the girl's uncle had claimed. The children then asked to be thrown into a pool, but only with floaties. The piece is a light-hearted look back at the exchange.
