Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom in Montreal was targeted in a shooting that occurred overnight from Thursday into Friday, the congregation said, and no one was wounded. Israel commented on the shooting, accusing Ottawa of fueling an anti-Israel climate behind what it called an appalling surge of antisemitism. The incident is the third targeting the synagogue since October 7.
