Anwar Gargash, a diplomatic adviser to the UAE President, said at the IISS Manama Dialogue that the UAE hopes for a "diplomatic breakthrough" in negotiations between Iran and the US. Gargash added that the UAE is "braced for the worst" and will take measures to protect itself and its citizens.
