The Verge reported that NASA is taking proposals from the private sector to help boost Hubble's orbit. Without an orbital boost, the telescope's time will run out in the early to mid 2030s, according to the report. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said Hubble still has important science ahead and that the agency should consider every available option. Hubble is not in immediate danger of burning up in the atmosphere, but gravity is slowly lowering its orbit.
