A study of nearly 486,000 adults found that regular tea drinking was associated with an 11% lower risk of heart and blood vessel diseases. The lowest risk was linked to roughly six to eight cups per day, and black tea showed more consistent benefits than green tea. Reported by ScienceDaily, the findings are associational and do not establish that tea itself causes the lower risk.
