Zelensky said on Sunday, 1 November, that Russia launched 1,940 strike drones, more than 1,580 guided aerial bombs and 44 missiles at Ukraine over the past week, including 36 ballistic missiles. Ukrinform and Kyiv Post both reported the figures, with Ukrinform giving no breakdown by city. Zelensky warned that Moscow intends to make ballistic missiles its primary weapon this winter to exploit Ukraine's acute interceptor shortage. Overnight strikes hit electrical substations, transformers and power lines in several regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr.
