Ukraine strikes Kamensky missile plant and $70 million Russian air defense assets

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Kamensky missile propellant plant in Russia's Rostov region on 1 November, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced. The attack also destroyed an S-400 Triumf command-and-staff vehicle and an upgraded Pantsir-S2 air defense system, which Zelensky valued at about $70 million in total. Zelensky called the precision strike long-range sanctions and praised the SBU and military units involved. Ukrinform, Kyiv Post and Ukrainska Pravda all reported the same figures, and no casualty details were given.
