Ghana's foreign minister said Putin has banned the recruitment of Ghanaians to fight against Ukraine, Reuters reported on 1 November. Moscow has not confirmed the agreement reached at the Russia-Africa Summit. Reuters also reported that Ghana says Russia will help build a 2,000-megawatt nuclear power plant in the country, an announcement made at the same summit.
