Serbian police chief Marko Kricak was arrested after the recent election on suspicion of abuse of office. Deutsche Welle reported that he is accused of suppressing and manipulating an investigation into a gangland murder. Kricak is described as a loyalist of Aleksandar Vucic, who was voted out of office in the recent election. Prosecutors say the arrest is not linked to Vucic's election defeat.
