German police said they received phone calls reporting sharp objects concealed in Halloween candy, Deutsche Welle reported. The report did not say where the candy was found, how many reports were received, or whether any injuries occurred. The reports prompted an investigation by German police, who have not yet publicly linked the incidents to any suspect or wider plot. Deutsche Welle's account is the only source covering the reports in the material available for this update.
