Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei wrote a reply to a ten-year-old Tehran student who had sent him an affectionate letter, and also presented a gift, IRNA reported on November 2, 2026. The student had expressed affection for the Leader in the original letter. IRNA's account is the only report of the exchange and presents it as a personal gesture. It has no political content beyond the courtesy of the reply.
