Israeli taekwondo athlete Avishag Semberg has retired at age 25. In 2021 at the Tokyo Olympics, she won Israel's first medal in the sport, a bronze, after four bouts, defeating Rukiye Yildirim of Turkey in the final one, Haaretz reported. Her retirement closes a career that brought Israel its first Olympic taekwondo medal.
