Meta will release the last OS update for the Quest 2 and Quest Pro headsets by March 2027, the company announced. The final planned update is v213, after which Meta will ship security patches and critical bug fixes through the end of 2027. Apps supporting those headsets can be submitted through December 2027, and Meta says the Quest 3 and 3S are now the baseline for its VR gamers.
