Apple has reportedly delayed its rumored smart home robot until 2027 at the earliest, and possibly 2028, according to The Information. The hardware has reportedly been finished for about two years, but the software is not ready. The software team reportedly tried to strip back features and focus the product on FaceTime and home tasks such as switching on lights. Ars Technica reported the robot could carry a price tag near $1,000.
