A Russian attack on the Koziatyn hromada in Vinnytsia Oblast killed a girl and a woman and injured four people, Ukrainska Pravda reported on 2 November 2026. The Ternopil Oblast head confirmed two people killed and three children injured as a result of the strike, according to the excerpt. The figures reported by the two accounts differ slightly on the number of injured (four versus three children), and the headline and excerpt do not explain the discrepancy. The attack adds to the continuing toll of Russian strikes on civilian areas far from the front line.
