Russia's Federal Security Service said on 2 November 2026 that it had intercepted a consignment of booby-trapped FPV pilots' goggles. Kyiv Post reported that this appears to repeat a February 2025 plot by Ukrainian intelligence, in which several users were reportedly seriously injured. The claim comes from the FSB alone, and the sources give no independent confirmation of the plot.
