The Russian State Library, known as the Leninka, hosted an overnight event called LitRAVE from 31 October to 1 November 2026, organised with the publishing group Eksmo-AST. According to Eksmo-AST, about 3,000 people gathered in the reading rooms on three dance floors playing techno, electronic pop and ambient music. The event drew criticism from pro-war commentators in Russia, according to Meduza. The sources give no official response from the library or government bodies.
