President Volodymyr Zelensky said he asked US President Donald Trump three or four times to lift restrictions on SpaceX's Starshield system, in an interview with PBS. He said the restrictions prevented Ukraine from targeting Russian ballistic missile launchers. In the same interview, Zelensky questioned whether Elon Musk could have imposed the restrictions without US government involvement. The sources do not record a response from Washington or SpaceX.
