Supermarkets in several European countries were hit by apparent cyberattacks that disabled freezers and ruined food, according to PBS NewsHour. Last month, similar attacks hit supermarkets in France, causing temperatures in their refrigeration systems to rise. The sources do not name the perpetrators or say how many stores were affected. The attacks are reported as apparently linked to the earlier French incidents, but no official attribution has been published.
