Five years ago, the 18-year-old suffered a head-on collision on a Texas highway, and her car spun into a ditch and caught fire. Mike Argote and three other men from the Argote family's vehicle ran toward the flames and pulled Riney from the car. Mike Argote was burned in the rescue.
