The Taliban's Ministry of Public Health announced a polio vaccination campaign in Afghanistan, run in coordination with international partners, that will begin on November 2, 2026 and run through November 5. The campaign will extend to the Southern Zone from November 3 to 6 and to Logar Province from November 9 to 13. Voice of America reported the campaign as polio cases in the country rise.
