Iran's state broadcaster Press TV reported on Tuesday that US War Secretary Pete Hegseth has been misrepresenting the progress of the US-Israeli war against Iran to President Trump. The report is an Iranian state media claim and was not confirmed by US officials. The allegation adds to the pattern of competing accounts of the war, as Washington and Tehran continue indirect talks aimed at avoiding a return to full-scale fighting.
