An American high school student found a 3,300-year-old amulet while hiking up Mount Gezer in the Judean foothills of central Israel. The artifact features snakes and hieroglyphics and may be either an Egyptian original or a Canaanite copy. Haaretz reported the find on 3 November 2026. It is a discovery unrelated to the conflict.
