Nearly 2,800 troops will take part in the first major exercise of the Multinational Force for Ukraine, which tests plans to deploy European forces after hostilities end, Kyiv Post reported on November 3. The mission aims to strengthen Ukraine's defenses, protect its airspace and restore Black Sea shipping. Separately, Ukrinform reported that the Czech prime minister named increasing troop numbers and strengthening air defence as army priorities for the coming years.
