President Isaac Herzog warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of severe consequences for Israel and Jews from unchecked settler violence, in a September 30 letter obtained by The Times of Israel. The letter does not appear to have prompted a policy shift, as attacks have continued unabated, and an illegal outpost was established inside a Palestinian city in a move the IDF says was not coordinated.
