Israel's Shin Bet arrested Abu Shahadeh, a Palestinian citizen of Israel and activist, after masked officers stormed his house at midnight. Middle East Eye reported the arrest on 4 November 2026. The detention comes amid accusations that Netanyahu's government is seeking to undermine election results after a strong turnout among Palestinian citizens of Israel.
