Ukraine's military intelligence, HUR, assessed that Russia holds up to 700 ballistic missiles and can produce more than 200 cruise and ballistic missiles a month despite international sanctions. The assessment details stockpiles, production targets and technical problems affecting several missile types. The figures come from Ukrainian intelligence and have not been independently verified. They bear on Russia's capacity to sustain long-range strikes on Ukrainian cities.
