A new UNCTAD report says the fuel price shock following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz in February has hit developing economies hardest. Oil prices rose everywhere after the war shut the strait, but the cost at the pump has been far from equal. The UN trade and development agency's findings point to a widening gap between richer and poorer economies in energy costs. The report was published on Wednesday as part of the UN News coverage of the crisis.
