Blizzard launched World of Warcraft: Forever on November 4 at 3 PM PT, and the rollout has gone better than many players expected despite short login queues. Initial ruleset options were grayed out for about 30 minutes before working. Before launch, Blizzard revealed a new legendary weapon, Taldramir, the Whispering Wood, with a Weta Workshop replica, and players spotted possible new class and race combinations. A large balance patch raised the health of higher level creatures to compensate for reduced Classic power. IGN published beta impressions after 30 hours of play.
