Dr. Mazen Rantisi, a family physician from Ramallah, was released after 127 days in an Israeli prison, Haaretz reported. He had been convicted of membership in the Union of Medical Committees, which Israel treats as an unlawful association. He described staff competing in cruelty and lights being switched on and off every half hour at night.
