Israeli settlers established an outpost on the Jericho border after buying homes secretly, The Jerusalem Post reported on 5 November. The homes sit just metres from the Palestinian Authority-controlled city of Jericho. The Post said the homes are in Area A of the West Bank, but technically lie in Area C, which is under Israeli control. The report did not specify further legal steps.
