Divers located the wreckage of the SS Cornwallis, a merchant ship torpedoed by a German U-boat off the coast of Maine in 1944. The submarine had delivered Nazi spies to American soil just days earlier, Smithsonian Magazine reported. The wreck lies about 400 feet below the surface. The ship was traveling between Barbados and Canada when it was sunk.
