Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for stronger security guarantees, more Patriot interceptors and progress on a US-Ukraine drone agreement ahead of trilateral peace talks with Russia, reported on November 5. In Brussels, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas urged the newly elected US Congress to keep supporting Ukraine and pressure Russia, and asked the EU to open all remaining negotiating clusters with Ukraine by year-end.
