A Helsinki court sentenced Russian captain Andrei Maksimenko to three and a half years in prison and boatswain Vusal Majidov to nearly three years for dragging an anchor and cutting underwater cables. Ukrainska Pravda reported the sentences on November 5, 2026. The case concerns damage to Baltic infrastructure attributed to the crew.
