Kharkiv teacher Oleksandra Kazarovytska died in a pre-trial detention centre in occupied Crimea, Ukrainska Pravda reported on November 5, 2026. She was detained in Sevastopol after travelling to Crimea to help her parents. Russian occupation authorities claim she took her own life, according to the same report.
